This documentary restores its rightful place to Alice Guy, long erased from the history of cinema, who was nevertheless the first woman behind the camera, and the first director and producer of fiction films in history. Her inimitable imagination, lively humor, poetic eye, social awareness, boundless energy and passion for visual storytelling have led her to write and direct nearly a thousand films.
